What is Infrared Sauna Therapy?

Infrared light is the invisible part of natural sunlight. It is completely safe and healthy and although infrared light is a naturally occurring wavelength of the sun, it does not contain the harmful UV rays associated with unprotected sunlight. In fact, infrared is so safe, hospitals use infrared to warm newborn infants.

Infrared light can penetrate the body up to 2 inches. It is absorbed by the body and safely raises the core body temperature approximately 3 degrees (over 102 degrees) after each 40 minute session.

How long are your sessions?

Sauna therapy sessions are typically 30-40 minutes. However, you may stop the session at any time prior if need be. All appointments are booked on the hour.

Do you have discounts for first time visitors?

YES! All first time visitors enjoy a special 50% discount! We want everyone to experience the healing benefits of Infrared Sauna Therapy.

What should I wear?

For your convenience, towels are provided to each guest. However, you may wear something comfortable and loose fitting such as workout clothes or a swimsuit. That being said, you can wear as much or as little as you would like while in the privacy of your sauna suite. Please remove all footwear before entering the sauna.

Is the weight loss only water?

No, it’s more. Sweat released from the pores will carry fat molecules. Fat cells liquefy at 110˚F and can be released through the pores along with sweat during an average 30-40 minute infrared sauna session. The weight loss is more than water weight; it is actual fat loss.

Do you provide showers?

No, we do not provide showers.

How often should I come in?

The more time you spend in the sauna the better! That being said, the frequency will depend upon your individual health and wellness goals. We recommend at least 2-3 times a week. For more aggressive results, 4-5 times a week is recommended. We suggest visiting the sauna immediately following your workout to see the best weight loss results. We also recommend a sauna therapy following massage and chiropractic appointments.

Can a friend join me in the sauna?

Yes, our saunas will comfortably accommodate you and a friend. When you book your appointment, please be sure to let us know if another person will be joining you. Please note that if both individuals are members, they will each have a session deducted from their account. If you are bringing a non-member, it is only $20 for them to join you in your session. You will only be booked with others if you request it and know them.
